About Us

Ready to Help, Worldwide

Spanapark Lions Club members are dedicated volunteers who serve the surrounding community. We participate in a wide variety of programs designed to make this a better place to live and raise our families.

Newer members are trained and mentored by more seasoned members. Our club joins forces with other clubs in our zone and district to offer orientation on various aspects of becoming a Lion and a Lion leader. We work together on joint world, national, and community projects. We are part of Multiple District 19, Zone C. Because we are part of Lions Clubs International, our impact as Lions is even greater!

Monies earned from community fundraising events are put back into community projects. Funds to operate our Lions Club come directly from members and are the only monies used to operate the club.

Men and women of all religions, races and heritages are welcome to join us. Becoming a member of the Spanapark Lions Club is an opportunity to give back to the community, and is also a gratifying and fulfilling endeavor.

Congratulations to all the 2022 graduates out there! The nation’s first Father’s Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910, in the state of Washington. However, it was not until 1972—58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official—that the day honoring fathers became a nationwide holiday in the United States. There are more than 70 million fathers in the United States.
